Classic Bounty Box | Our version of a Classic CSA

Fresher, more nutritious food. Stronger local, small farms and food system. As things are getting tough again, we wanted to make sure that everyone can be a part of supporting of our small, local farms.

This Classic Bounty Box is based on a real CSA model, which means it's packed with whatever our farmers are pulling out of the ground at that moment. Some deliveries you'll get the staples — greens, citrus, maybe some root vegetables. Other times you'll open the box and go, "what is this and how do I cook it?" Those are my favorite delivery weeks :)

Here's the thing about a real CSA box, and why we built this one the same way: there are no substitutions. You get what's actually ready to be picked that round, not a curated list you get to pick and choose from. That's not a limitation — it's the whole point. It's how farming actually works, and it's how you end up trying things you never would have bought on your own.

Depending on how your household eats, the general feedback is that this box can feed 2-3 people for a week. If you'd rather have more of a say in what shows up at your door, check out any of our other Bounty Boxes.

Everything comes from small farms across Northern California. Over three-quarters of them are run by women and people of color who've been quietly growing incredible food for years without much recognition. Buying this box means your money lands directly in their pockets instead of getting swallowed up by some massive distribution chain three states away.. or on a whole other continent :/

Subscribing to any of our Bounty Boxes is a powerful way to support local farms and get your family excellent-tasting food that you can trust. In addition to receiving fresh, local produce, you're also supporting our goal of a stronger, healthier, more sustainable agricultural food system and environment.

And at $24 a box, it's hard to find a better deal on food this fresh. You're not paying for packaging, marketing, or a brand name — you're paying farmers directly for what they grew, picked at its peak, with almost nothing in between.

Subscriptions at $24 a box have a twelve-box minimum commitment. That's 24 weeks of real, seasonal produce showing up at your door every other week, no decision-making required after the first one.
