Schoch Greek Yogurt
Schoch Farm Greek Yogurt
Nearly a century of farming will teach you a thing or two. Schoch Family Farmstead has been raising dairy cows for almost 100 years, and their Greek yogurt is proof that some things are worth keeping simple. We're talking unhomogenized whole milk and cultures — that's literally it. No fillers, no additives, nothing you have to Google.
What makes it stand out, though, is how it's made. Schoch uses a lower temperature and longer incubation time than your typical yogurt, which does two things really well: it creates a delicate, creamy texture that's noticeably different from the stuff you're used to, and it actually supports a higher population of probiotics — specifically acidophilus and bifidus — compared to standard yogurt cultures. So you're not just getting great yogurt, you're getting yogurt that's genuinely working harder for your gut. Such a win!
Local. Family-owned. Almost 100 years in the making. Once you know what goes into it, it's hard to reach for anything else.
USES
As for how to use it — the real question is how not to. Eat it plain and let it speak for itself, layer it with fruit, one of our local honeys & some fresh granola for an easy breakfast. You can also use it as a clean swap for sour cream in dips, dressings & sauces. It's the kind of staple that earns a permanent spot in your fridge once you try it.
