Organic Pink Lemons
Pink Lemons | the lemon that's been holding out on you
Everything you thought you knew about lemons just got a glow-up.
Pink lemons are a rare citrus variety with striped green and yellow peels and pink blush-colored flesh — originally a natural mutation discovered on a eureka lemon tree in Southern California, and cultivated for over 90 years. They look like a lemon that got invited to a much better party. Cut one open and you'll find beautiful pink flesh that looks like a miniature pink grapefruit — and despite that rosy interior, the juice runs perfectly clear. Nature, showing off again.
The flavor? Noticeably milder and sweeter than a traditional lemon, with subtle sweet undertones that make it gentler and less acidic. All the brightness you love about citrus, with none of the pucker-face. Use them anywhere you'd use a regular lemon and watch people immediately ask "wait, what is that?"
Nutrition-wise, pink lemons are a rich source of vitamin C, potassium, and antioxidants — and their pink color comes from lycopene, a powerful antioxidant linked to reduced risk of heart disease and certain cancers. So yes, they're as good for you as they are pretty. Life isn't always unfair.
Stripe pattern, color depth, and size may vary — that's the magic of a fruit that's still a little wild at heart.
